Studio Apartments for Rent – FAQ’s
At Metro on First, studio apartments start at $1,595 per month for our 390-square-foot A6 layout and range up to $1,695 for the 485-square-foot studio with a den. Our studios range from 390 to 500 square feet across four layouts. Two of the four include a separate den, which works well as a home office. Our largest studio, the A3, is 500 square feet — the same footprint as our one-bedroom B3, at a lower monthly price.
Yes. Metro on First is located at 215 1st Ave W in Lower Queen Anne, within walking, driving, and biking distance of the Space Needle, Seattle Center, Climate Pledge Arena, and the Museum of Pop Culture. It's one of the few Seattle neighborhoods where you genuinely don't need a car day to day.
Secure garage parking is available on site. Our current move-in special includes six months of free parking — ask the leasing team whether it applies to the home you're considering. Restrictions may apply.
Yes to both. Every studio includes a full-size in-unit washer and dryer — no shared laundry room and no quarters — along with dedicated closet space and kitchen storage designed to make the square footage work harder.
Yes. Studio A6, Studio A3, and Studio Den A4 – Alt are available now, with a limited number of homes in each. Studio Den A4 opens in early August. Availability on this page updates daily and studios lease quickly, so we recommend touring soon.

Yes. Metro on First is a pet-friendly community and your whole household is welcome. Contact our leasing office for details on breed restrictions, pet rent, and deposits.
Select homes include private balconies. Ask the leasing team which studios currently available have one.

Full rental qualification criteria are published on our site. Section 8 and other subsidy programs are welcome. We do not accept Comprehensive Reusable Tenant Screening Reports as defined by RCW 59.18.030.
Apply online through our leasing portal, or schedule a tour first and apply the same day. Homes with only one or two left are typically leased within days of listing.
